Ethan Fiske is a pop musician hailing from Middlebury, Connecticut. Aggregating his skills as a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, Fiske utilizes an innovative, hands-on approach to creating immersive music. True interpersonal connection and spreading compassion through music have long been driving forces for musician Ethan Fiske. Honing his versatile skill set as a multi-instrumental, singing/songwriter producer, Fiske sets out to celebrate love and emotion with his music. From a young age, Fiske was surrounded by creative building blocks to inspire the well-rounded musician he is today. Fiske started playing the piano in first grade, advancing to playing pop tunes on the piano as early as third grade. This cultivated an initial interest in being a singer, which led him to continue his private studies up until senior year of high school. Fiske recalls the moment he knew he wanted to be a performer; witnessing Bruno Mars’ performance at the 53rd Grammys in 2011 for the first time. “I stayed up late and watched it with my mom and sister and it blew me away so much. I recorded it on our DVR and when I came home from school I used to turn it on and sing and dance along to it”, he fondly recalls. Fiske’s other inspirations that have contributed to his vibrant electro-pop style include The Weeknd and Michael Jackson. Starting with a Radio Shack usb microphone and his family’s old desktop Mac, Fiske began recording his own music in middle school. Compared to current day, where Fiske currently attends Western Connecticut State University, majoring in audio production. His college experience has allowed him to grow in an environment of creatives who have pushed him to achieve new heights with his current projects. “Team building amongst your peers, providing others with opportunities for creative outlet, we all get something out of it”, states Fiske. Carving out his own spot in this community has helped Fiske learn more about establishing meaningful connections in the music industry, bringing forth the band he has cultivated. Ethan Fiske and the Big Love Band consists of Aidhan Roque on guitar, Ryan Papagelis on keyboard and saxophone, Elijah Atkins on bass, and Jason Alifidi on drums. The band brings these new songs to life in a vivacious, high-energy fashion, which is able to reflect the values of Fiske’s musical upbringing. He strives to unite people through music, making authentic, long-lasting impressions. With love at the heart of his vision, Ethan Fiske produces a euphoric nostalgia like that of being welcomed home.
